I'd love to sit here and write how this could go down in history as one of Quake's greatest matches, with two titans of equal strength clashing head to head. Sadly I doubt this final will be the final we would all desire, a 6 map thriller going down to the final 10 seconds. Toxic is just too strong for socrates currently and it was shown in their upper bracket final, scores 14-5 (galang), 16-8 (phrantic). Socrates has the possibility to take a map off toxic, his best bet so far has been monsoon. Socrates should not be disappointed with his performance in the least, he has developed in to a better player over the last few months and I expect come WSVG grand finals, we will see him become very competitive. This however will become another tournament victory for Johan "toxic" Quick.
