The State of the Game



There's been much conjecture over the past few months regarding the longevity of Counter-Strike 1.6. Much of the community is split on the argument, either siding with the critics in saying that 1.6 has long since reached its use by date, and is now in a state of steady decline, or with the optimists, citing the games ever increasing number of competitions and prize money. So who's correct? Are the critics actually realists, or simply pessimists?
