Hi, looking for a decent cs server, cost isn't really much of an issue, bar buying a dedicated server myself.
Have used a gamearena server for the past 2 or so years, and it's been decent for the sydney boys, but yeah, not so amazing for melb players.
Mainly interested in syd/melb players opinions :D
Atm it's ga/ausnet/cdkey(?)

i use a CDKEYS one, seems to be the best for everyone all round.
30ping to QLD
30 ping to Melb
<30 ping for NSW
60 ping to WA (hi ferg)
40 ping to NZ

cdkeys is terrible, choke/loss problems for people on telstra.

pretty sure CDKEYS are 100% the worst server in this country right now. Melbourne 60-80 ping, constant choke/loss. Rather eat a dick than play on that again.

pretty sure every server is fucking craptastic compared to the quality of some of the source servers
feels like some of the source DM servers are like what 1.6 servers used to be around 2005-2006, and the 1.6 servers now have no rego and freeze occasionally

cdkeys is bad, go for hypernia or quadeye.

iPGN use to be good until they decided to have 80+ servers on god knows how little boxes. There's way to many servers on the 1 box these days and they are just turding. Most new server companys are good until they fill up to many servers on the box.

Ended up going hypernia after trying out respect's server, stupidly cheap.
