I reckon you're spot on sommi in re to whether the boy is Aaron, as the others consistently made it clear children cannot be born on the island, and the importance of bens back story - that he just like everybody else was born off the island - regardless of what he told everyone. (unless I'm confusing myself) but it would make Aaron special in that sense similar to neo in matrix and like you said the reason smokie is terrified of him.
Interesting parallel universe theory too, it'll be interesting to see the direction they go when where they go dealing with Locke.

didn't they already explain what (in a nutshell) happened to claire when she was abducted? they knew she was pregnant already, as she concieved off the island, then kidnapped her to study the difference or something. this was explained in one of the juliette based episodes after she swapped camps so to speak.
BUT as aaron was born on the island, it's possible jacob hitched a ride in a manner of speaking, similar to smokie with locke. which would possibly explain why he an simultaneously be in LA with grandma and on the island.
i agree with your theory on the parallel dimension clash #80, my curiosity is more with how it's going to happen, as at present the timelines aren't concurrent. not that this has stopped the show before, but i daresay there's a lot of ground to cover yet.

im really not sure how they're gonna go about the whole aaron stuff as its only been the past ~20 years since child birth on the island wasnt possible (ie ATLEAST later than 1977 onwards), so he cant be that special can he?
and yeh i thought the whole parallel universe would clash, i just assumed that towards the end of the season they would do something on-island which does what the bomb/incident at end of season 5 was SUPPOSED to do (ie. reset the timeline), and what we're seeing happening in the parallel universe is the ending of the show. Either way something HAS to happen with it, they've shown far too much of it for it to be meaningless.

i think jack has to kill the MIB(locke) other then that hugo i think will be the next jacob and protect the island.
the candidates shown in the cave, i think is lockes cave for himself trying to find out who is going to replace jacob (i think thats y he wants to leave before he dies)and himself.
if the fake locke leaves the island i think it will disappear, he cant kill any of the candidates because its the "rules"
two people in the cave adam and eve like characters?? something like the island is the garden of eden.. im just saying!
i dont know :S who ever is chosen i think is the person who has grown the most on the island,which will take over jacob and fake locke... having a balance of good and evil
OR
the parallel worlds get both of the same person lets say island jack = jacob and LAX jack = bad guy could be something like that and thats why the MIB does not wish to stay on the island

its the last season, whats the point of predicting, we will get to see what goes down eventually. 11 episodes to go

i dno its still too early to say at this point what jacob/man in black actually want the people for - whether it be for their replacement, or to simply join their 'side' in a war (like 'claiming' them as their pieces like a real life game of chess/backgammon), or for something else entirely all together.
what was good to see though was that that the fake christian shephard (jack's dad) was in fact the man in black and never representing jacob as he claimed to be (even though it was pretty much gauranteed before hand, theres more confirmation of it now).
its also pretty safe to assume, imo, that the cave with the names written on them last ep was actually the man in blacks cave/list, while jacob's list is the one on at the lighthouse. It appears both have similar/same names crossed-out (and not), but we didnt see enough of the important ones to know for sure whether or not their lists are identical

#87 jack and claire being sisters was the key topic of an episode a while back, and is why jacks dad was in sydney in the first place.
and whats with LA jack being a dad now?

^ interesting to note that in both parallel universes, Jack is unable to maintain a relationship, whether it be the one where he lived with kate or the current one he is in now.
Also as a sidenote, I was wondering who his current ex-wife is, there could be a reason the writer's haven't shown her face yet :o

jin in the meat locker was a bit odd...althought you cant be suprised by anything at this point
its not possible for that guy to be jin's father...as jin went back and saw his poor fisherman parents in an earlier season?

i'm assuming that would be why jin was carrying that huge amount of cash on the plane. he did do dirty work for sun's dad after all, so i can only assume that when the cash got confiscated by customs, whatshisname wasn't overly thrilled.
as for the baseball, i dunno about magic 8ball theories so much as it was just his sons, as he died being picked up from baseball practise.
whats interesting though, is that sayid DID let MIB talk first, so i wonder if the theory still stands?
