Hi Guys,

ESAU are currently in talks with Web Designers about a make over for the site.
It will have some new areas including a hall of fame type thing. Basically for this to happen
It's going to take some money so I am asking the community if anyone is will and able to donate
Whatever they can afford towards ESAU it will be greatly appreciated. Also at the end of each month
I will update the names and amounts of the biggest contributor's. This will also be a new part on the site.

In addition to this will be adding some new areas and taking away some other ones.

Any further money will go back into the community in the form of competitions and prizes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For account details PM me.

Cheers,

#78 it's allowed to be vague. We have our differences when it comes to gaming and CS. Don't you have a comp to walk out on or something? :P

I like dice because they do things competently on their own without asking for handouts, support themselves, and even host a pretty good nationals. the updates on gameday they do are great, movie clips. the file hosting is awesome too.

i just wish it had a more active forum.

Thanks to those so far for their donations. And Benzino keeping this site up isn't cheap and getting it revamped is even less so. I have been carrying the costs without complaint and thought some people would be happy to contribute to the website.

I'd be happy to donate also, but can we get a more official and detailed announcement of whats happening?

Maybe an article on whats going down, when and what the timeframe is?

Dice is supported by iPGN so I can assume that the costs of Webhosting is covered there.

Nothing stopping ESAU from people asking around for similar support.

so where is the sponsor and proshop?

recommend esau to shut doors and everyone to dicevip.com

Not much paying for a dedicated server hosted in US. Trust me I have a dedicated server hosted in iprimus data centre in melbourne, now that is fuckloads.

Godless, just fork out 4k from your own pocket for ESAU and there you have it!

as shit is going now, I don't see anything you've said to happen, show us.

Might've gone afk, maybe a bit more time's needed but it'd be good if we can some dates set on when things will be explained and stick to them let alone setting up a proshop/new layout or what not on the site.

Nice of you guys to push and all. He's the one paying for the site, probably would be onwards of $200/month with constant traffic. I don't know how many donated - But changes will come in due time... Just relax and wait.

anyone know if dice are looking at changing website or forums? really over this split between esau/dice. there seems to be no reason to remain with esau anymore except for forum activity so dice should just adjust to allow the same thing and everyone jump ship.

yeh dice will be doing alot of changes on their forums (amongst a whole bunch of other things) shortly, george was just waiting to find a competent web developer to do it caus skills who did the orig site doesnt have time anymore.

but re esau it wouldnt be too hard to get it up to scratch again just requires some good staff that are actually in touch and involved with the community, it already has the userbase theres no reason they can make their coverage and other things back to the level it used to be tbh

sweet, problem solved. when a thread is made asking for donations and posts are made outlining changes and timeframes and then ... nothing (which is what we're used to now from here) .. well im hoping everyone decides to head over.
