"I can run faster than that. I just didn't do it today," said Gay.

Typical american douchebag

Usain is fucking amazing. I want to see him run at 100% all the way through the line for once.

I doubt Gay can run that fast, but then again sprinters are twice as cocky as fighter pilots.

I remember like 10 years ago some douche bag "scientists" calculated that the fastest possible time a human can run in a 100m was like 9.54 or 9.56 seconds... so hopefully he breaks it

Darran, scientists calculate it using a few different methods. They take into account the air resistance and mass that an athlete has as they run 100m. Also, they consider the human bone density, and the rate at which your heart needs to pump to exert enough blood & oxygen to be fed into muscles.

It's impossible to calculate the fastest time a person can run. Flawed study imo.

A human has no limits, there is no maximum level human can get.

Bolt didnt win the long jump ontop of streaking away in the 100 and 200 last i checked Apex. Was the last olympics with no starting blocks aswell as far as I can remember. 10.3 with no starting blocks in the 1930's, with todays training/nutrition knowledge and equipment I think you would be suprised

only carl lewis really compares in my mind for athletics (and he was a drug cheat)

So bolt just won the 200m in a world record 19.19 seconds. Beating the previous record by 0.11 seconds.

Such a madcunt. Actually I'd love to see him do the long jump. The way he lifts his knees so high as he runs, I reckon he'd be quite good at it. I guess he's concentrating on doming all the other cunts at sprinting though. Perhaps in a couple of years he might take it up after he's burned out a little in the sprints. Would be nice to see what he could jump now though.
