hey guys, just wondering what every does cas/part time during uni and how badly ppl have been shafted by their work..

im working @ super cheap auto and was a casual 3IC ( ran the store on friday nights and occational saturdays and sundays and abit of work during the week ) but since i started uni ive gone from 25 hours a week to 10 and next week they gave me 5 and they kicked me off the 3IC list so i have had enough..

prob just gonna pick up quick nightfill (anyone done it before is it hard to get used to n stuff??) for the holidays and find something next year..

its easy getting night fill jobs Lafa as no one really wants to do it because the hours are so fucked and you will notice your health will generally deteriorate if you work night fill/shifts consistently for a decent amount of time

what mcf said sam, that and in building they give you credits on how much work you've done within the industry etc, i won't be able to get my masters straight away but that's my eventual plan.

oh i never knew that. i didnt know such thing as a masters in project management existed

anywho i am with a recruitment agency (hays). left my other job after getting award wages and copped too much sh*t for someone who came in 2 days a week (i.e. expect the world from someone who has no responsibility or power to act). get work whenever its free.. during holidays is a ripper.

between $19 and $22 an hour net but its on call. cant wait to finish uni and get a career (i.e. start up SK Gaming Australia and win wcg finals)
