The event here today is going very well and we have everything up and running, unfortunately at the start of the day we had some network and steam problems but no event is ever complete without the mandatory network and steam issues. It is now 3:10pm and the event is running along nicely, with the first showcase match being completed earlier the potential of this event is really apparent, the crowd was getting into it with a great close one between Showtime from Melbourne and style from Queensland.

Early in the game it looked like it could be a white wash in styles favor, but Showtime showed that super teams can almost go the distance with a great second half, coming back to be extremely competitive and take it down to the wire. Finally style took the game with a score of 16-14. The event is chugging along nicely with a great showing of people filling up the BYOC in the second room of the event. Along with that we have a nice setup of Xboxes as well for DOA and PGR tomorrow, also there are some great booths including a giant Harvery Norman booth and an MSI booth.

Poker table’s have been setup inside the BYOC but they have not been utilized by the public yet. Currently we are setting up the stage match between NR and +V but some 69erking from +V wants mouse accel and that is causing issues. This is fbz sighing out on 4hrs sleep and 25hours in the GCCEC ;)
